Schlumberger in Abbeville (France) develops and produces cables used for downhole measurement, surface equipment (acquisition cabins, trucks, winches, cable drums, etc.) and downhole packers to isolate desired formation layers to take fluid samples and to increase the oil and gas productivity.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES: For our field operations we develop products, services and solutions at our research and engineering facilities that optimize customer performance in a safe and environmentally sound manner. The intern will plan, deliver and maintain documentation related to our products in order to support production, supply, quality and service maintenance during the full product and service life cycle.

EXPERIENCE / QUALIFICATIONS: The applicant has studied at least three years in technical documentation. He/she reports to an engineering team and has experience in technical writing. He/she will be capable to work within an international environment and knows how to communicate effectively. Good English in writing is indispensable, basics in French are advisable for daily life. Finally, career development is essential at Schlumberger, you will have to possess excellent capacities of adaptation and a strong will to succeed. Although this internship position is initially based in Abbeville, for a future career with Schlumberger you might have to travel and work all around the world.

COMPENSATION: Monthly base salary EUR 900 Monthly housing allowance EUR 300 One-time travel expenses covered up to EUR 400
