Best practices of cultural heritage management in the Visegrad countries • The course starting on September 30, 2013 will focus on best practices of cultural heritage management in the Visegrad countries (Czech Republic, Hungary, Poland, and Slovakia), with an outlook to East-Central- and South-East-Europe.
• ISES was awarded a UNESCO Chair in Cultural Heritage Management and Sustainable Development in 2011. • The UNESCO Chair complements the unique ISES – Corvinus postgraduate and MA program, the first of its kind in Hungary. • The program provides students with a solid, interdisciplinary foundation to become trained professionals with the skills needed to preserve, protect and manage cultural heritage for future generations.

• Three semesters are required for course work on campus and online, plus one semester for thesis writing and defense. • The language of the training program is English, therefore a proven, solid knowledge of English is required. • The diploma is issued by the Corvinus University of Budapest. • Tuition fee: 1500 EUR per semester. Training programs are held in the picturesque medieval town of Kőszeg, Hungary, on the border with Austria, in the foothills of the Alps. Kőszeg is approximately 3 hours from Budapest and 1 ½ hours south of Vienna. ISES facilities include a beautiful Sigray palace, the Europe House, and the new Advanced Studies Centre and Library located in the Sgraffitto House in Jurisics Square.
