Reporting to the General Manager & CEO, in this role you will: Provide senior level strategic direction and leadership in the development, implementation and delivery of innovative corporate marketing initiatives which support the St. Lawrence Parks Commission’s goal of sustainability. Create a persistent, strategic focus on the customer; delivering corporate strategies to maximize customer acquisition, retention and profitability. Ensure high quality interactions at each consumer touch point with the goal of increasing satisfaction and building better product and experiences that the customer is willing to pay for.
HOW DO I QUALIFY? KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE You have specialized knowledge and proven success implementing marketing strategies such as consumer research, brand management, promotions, communications, advertising and sponsorship sales You have experience executing on reciprocal program strategies to integrate SLPC with their partners, driving corporate and regional tourism growth You excel in idea generation and have demonstrated knowledge and experience in business development and strategic planning to support initiatives and strategies that will stimulate visitor growth, customer loyalty and successfully market SLPC product and service offerings LEADING CUSTOMER EXPERIENCE STRATEGY You have demonstrated experience in: the development of customer–centric strategies, driving profitable customer behaviour through the creation of initiatives such as customer retention, loyalty, guest satisfaction and improving the overall customer experience; creating positive influences in product first impressions, connectivity to our experiences and influencing post visit behaviours managing the customer “life cycle” and a keen awareness of all phases of customer interactions with organizations identifying the most profitable customer segments and maximizing the value delivered to and derived from each customer building customer intimacy as a competitive strategy; driving strategy that builds, aligns and focuses product to meet the individual customer needs, including personalization of service and the customization of products to meet differing customer needs customer engagement through a variety of social media platforms, developing relevant customer content, interaction and customer loyalty, with the intention of growing our messaging through our follower base. MARKET RESEARCH, BUSINESS INTELLIGENCE & ANALYTICS You possess: senior level experience evaluating analytics related to market and customer trends; direct experience with market research initiatives to evaluate and measure effectiveness of marketing and business strategies knowledge of and experience with a variety of enterprise software tools such as CRM, ERP and POS systems as well as business analytics/business intelligence software LEADERSHIP, INFLUENCE AND STAKEHOLDER MANAGEMENT You have: demonstrated experience leading highly successful teams, providing overall management and leadership to corporate marketing and customer service portfolios proven success influencing internal stakeholders on how to deliver the greatest value to the customers strong relationship-building and negotiation skills and a demonstrated ability to develop and nurture business partner relationships
