Instructions to Applicants

Kindly submit one original and two copies of the original application form.

All application forms will be assessed by two external independent Assessors, who will grade each application accordingly.

The ESGAC (ERASMUS Selection Grant Allocation Committee) will select the beneficiaries to proceed on Erasmus and the funding allocation by the National Agency.

All applicants will be notified by email, and by post regarding the selection results.

Kindly note that the subsistence allowance will only cover up to one day prior the start of the Training Mobility, up to one day after the end of the mobility period. Beneficiaries are advised that the minimum duration of the Staff Training mobility is of 5days, and the maximum period is of 6 weeks

Three months prior to their departure, selected beneficiaries should present three flight quotation tickets (including the actual flight tickets) and boarding cards in correspondence with their training mobility at the Host Institution. Beneficiaries are advised at all times to travel with the cheapest mode of transport. Erasmus beneficiaries are advised that there is a maximum ceiling rate which can cover flight tickets, depending on the country of Destination. Should the flight tickets exceed the specific rates set in the Table provided by the National Agency, the beneficiaries would have to pay the difference from their own pockets.

Beneficiaries should be aware that the International & EU Office will not be able to cover flights not in relation with their Training mobility abroad, such as conferences or any other visits before/after their Erasmus mobility.

As the subsistence is calculated on the daily rate issued by the European Commission, and the actual flight receipts, the beneficiaries should present their flight receipts and boarding cards which cover their Erasmus mobility only. The International & EU Office will not be in a position to cover flight expenses incurred by third parties. In the case of misplaced boarding cards, the beneficiaries are requested to contact the airlines for a confirmation e-mail, in order to be eligible for the grants.

Beneficiaries are kindly reminded that same costs funded through other European Community programmes or covered by other funds cannot be claimed twice.

*Priority shall be given to first time applicants.
