INTRODUCTION From 2 to 4 November 2015 was held in Diffa, an International Symposium on the Culture of Peace in the Lake Chad Basin, organized by the newly created University of Diffa. The brilliance of this forum was enhanced by the participation of eminent personalities from the universities of Niger the sub-region (Chad, Cameroon, Benin, Mali, Burkina Faso, Nigerian), Europe (Spain), and politicians (Former Prime Minister of Niger, Former Ministers of Niger, National Deputies, governors, prefects), the President of the CNDH, of traditional chiefs or their representatives, in the Diffa Region). The organization and holding of this conference were facilitated thanks the support of Institutions and Agencies hereinafter: the High Authority for the Consolidation of Peace, other technical and financial partners (TFP), NGOs, and PROJECTS and Defense and Security forces (FDS). Recommendations were formulated during the closing ceremony and are presented below:
