MARKETING & SOCIAL MEDIA INTERN Weʼre looking for you if youʼre into digital marketing trends and engagement, marketing tools and research, social media, and bringing it all together for B2C and B2B engagement and support. Hackettstown BID works with local merchants, the town of Hackettstown and other organizations for the improvement and growth of Hackettstown, and also creates and promotes events to attract and engage the local community and visitors. You will assist with promoting specific events and conduct marketing research with the HKTWN brand in mind, which may include Hackettstown businesses as well. Responsibilities: • Develop content for promotional materials including direct mail pieces, print and electronic newsletters, website, social media posts, releases and other materials. • Brainstorm concepts to create consistency in HKTWN brand, including future social media campaigns • Research and define potential areas for marketing/sponsors/specific audiences • Translate strategies and concepts into print, online and other collateral material. Interests: marketing, advertising, communications, experiential marketing, branding, strategy & implementation; business management SKILLS /QUALIFICATIONS Knowledge in Microsoft Office programs Excellent written communication skills Strong creativity Open-minded Critical thinking Attention to detail Personable, able to initiate and maintain strong personal relationships Communicative Bilingual Duration: Flexible Hours: Flexible, TBD Volunteer hours are highly encouraged on event days, including nights and weekend.
