MEDIA RELEASE Family and Friends Honor Fallen Firefighter SANTA BARBARA, CA - 4/23/2018

On what would have been his 39th birthday, family and friends gathered today to honor Firefighter Daniel Corrigan. A memorial plaque located at the fire department training tower was unveiled by Dan’s two boys during a brief dedication ceremony. Dan tragically lost his life in March of 2015 when he suffered a job related medical
emergency. Firefighter Corrigan was a dedicated and well respected member of the Santa Barbara City Fire Department. As current and future generations of firefighters conduct training exercises, this plaque will serve as a reminder of Dan’s dedication to his profession and the exceptional service he provided to his community.
