Michaela Beck is the Philafieldhockey.com Rookie of the Week Club: Main Line FHC Team: U16 Mayhem Red Tournament: USTC “Michaela's improvement during her rookie indoor season has been impressive; her hard work has taught her to match her incredible foot speed with her ball control, which has been a significant force behind Mayhem Red's attack,” said Alexandra McMahan, Head Coach & Director. “Not only does Michaela excel in finding the back of the net, her positivity and enthusiasm to play and be with her team has made her a leader on and off of the court. Though only a freshman, Michaela seamlessly hopped into a U19 tournament and attacked the circle without fear-which is not surprising coming from an athlete who can run the 100-meter dash in 12.8 seconds!” Beck is a freshman at Conestoga High School and joined Mayhem in the fall of 2016. When she is not playing field hockey, she is running track and is involved in various extracurricular activities such as Peer Mediation, Best Buddies, and Autism Awareness.
