Note: The UserName entered is the same as your Senate Network UserName followed by your Senate Network Password.
You are now connected to your Senate Email as shown below.
When you wish to exit the Outlook Web Access, click on Log Off icon, located at the top righthand side of the menu bar. This step will exit you from the Outlook Web Access. You may then close your web browser. 2
Using Outlook Web Access 2003 This document will help you navigate through the new Outlook Web Access page.
Click on the small arrow beside the “Folders” icon to expand this menu and reveal the entire contents of the mailbox. Clicking on the small “+” icon will display any subfolders.
Clicking on any of these shortcuts will automatically bring you to the appropriate folder.
Clicking on the “Rules” shortcut will allow you to modify existing rules or create new rules to filter incoming mail. The “Options” button allows you to change the following: • Out of Office Assistant • Email Signature • Date & Time format • Calendar and Reminder Options • Contact Options • Recover Deleted Items • Reading Pane Options
The menu bar located at the top of the page also provides you with quick access to many features. Placing your cursor above an icon will display a description of the function. From the same menu, you can quickly create a new message or move a selected email to another folder. You may also forward/reply and delete messages using the menu bar. In order to log off the Outlook Web Access service, click the “Log Off” button located at the right of the menu bar.
