• Sentiment Analysis and Summarisation of Product Reviews [Natural Language Processing] (Guide: Prof. H C Karnick, Department of Computer Science and Engineering , July’16 - Nov’16) ◦ The purpose of our project is to develop techniques for text classification that would enable to classify the product’s review according to the sentiment expressed. ◦ Implemented unsupervised approach to generate concise summary of the product from its reviews. To generate summary, extracted the features of product and the opinions on each feature using double propagation algorithm. • Object Detection and Classification from campus main gate surveillance video [Machine Learning] (Guide:Prof. Harish Karnick, Department of Computer Science and Engineering , Jan’16 - Apr’16) ◦ Pre-processed the video using image-processing techniques with the help of opencv and other open source softwares ◦ Labelled the pre-processed data using cooperative or crowd-sourced labelling ◦ Separated foreground frames from background frames with high accuracy ◦ Classified different objects in the videos - pedestrians, vehicles, other using different machine learning technique- Decision Tree Classifier ◦ Analysed the result and accuracy of various machine learning techniques • Reducing Hubness in High Dimensional Data Spaces [Artificial Intelligence] (Guide:Prof. Piyush Rai, Department of Computer Science and Engineering , Jan’16 - Apr’16) ◦ Studied the theoretical aspects of the project which includes various methods to reduce hubness, a general problem of high dimensional data spaces ◦ Implemented techniques like Local Scaling (LS), Mutual Proximity (MP) and shared nearest neighbor (SNN) ◦ Experimented the techniques on various data available on Internet and reduced effect of hubness problem by significant amount • Implementation of Face Detection using Skin Color Segmentation [Image Processing] (Guide: Prof. Tanaya Guha, Department of Electrical Engineering , July’16 - Nov’16) ◦ Firstly segmented skin regions from an image using combination of RGB, HSV and YCgCr color models using thresholding concept. ◦ Then facial features are used to locate the human face based on knowledge of geometrical properties of human face by testing each segmented skin region. • Implementation of Server, Client and Proxy [Computer Network] (Guide: Prof. Rajesh Hegde, Department of Computer Science and Engineering , July’16 - Nov’16)

◦ Designed a Server and Client Communication protocol through HTTP 1.0 with the help of socket programming in C++ ◦ Designed a Proxy server which takes request from browser and then parse the request before sending it to Server. Then, from server it receives response and send it to client browser ◦ Implemented TCP protocol and analysed BGP data • NachOS [Operating System] (Guide: Prof. Mainak Choudhary, Department of Computer Science and Engineering , July’16 - Nov’16) ◦ Implemented System calls pertaining to Fork, Exec, Join, Sleep and Exit ◦ I UNIX, First in First Out, Round Robin and Shortest Job First job scheduling algorithms ◦ Also implemented Shared Memory, Semaphores, Condition variables and Demand Paging • Acoustic Bearing Fault Detection [Summer Project] (Guide: Prof. Rajesh Hegde, Department of Electrical Engineering , Jun’15 - Jul’15) ◦ Studied the theoretical aspects of the project which includes various methods to reduce hubness, a general problem of high dimensional data spaces ◦ Implemented techniques like Local Scaling (LS), Mutual Proximity (MP) and shared nearest neighbor (SNN) ◦ Experimented the techniques on various data available on internet and reduced effect of hubness problem by significant amount INTERNSHIPS

• Development of Search Engine (Under the guidance of Mohtashim M, MD of Tutorialspoint Pvt Ltd, Hyderabad- Dec’16) ◦ Implemented all the modules of search engine- Crawling, Indexing, Ranking, Presentation from scratch mainly using Python ◦ Worked in a team of three interns to successfully complete the project in just one month ◦ Researched and read about different components of general search engine and implemented them after discussion with mentor and team members ◦ Impact: Self Customizable, ad free, can be extended to replace Custom Google Search • CAN and LIN Protocol Analyzer (Mentor: Ms. Sunitha Cherkottu, Texas Instruments, Bangalore, India, May’16 - July’16) ◦ Used Hercules Microcontroller (RM46L852) to generate CAN(Controller Area Network) and LIN(Local Interconnect Network) Frames ◦ Used Code Composer Studio(CCS IDE, TI IDE for microprocessors and micro controllers) for generation and analyzation of signal ◦ Sent the generated CAN frame to tx pin of CAN and LIN transceiver and read back the rx value and compared each data bit ◦ Made a GUI, which can control speed, data bits and other parameters ◦ Designed a Level Shifter circuit which can add a offset of around 60V to a digital signal INTERESTS and SKILLS
