New Jersey American Water Replacing Aging Water Mains in Burlington and Camden Counties VOORHEES, N.J. (November 18, 2016) – Over the next several weeks, New Jersey American Water will be investing approximately $2.5 million for the installation of new water mains in Burlington and Camden counties, within Cherry Hill, Cinnaminson, Gibbsboro and Westampton. The approximate 11,470 feet of new pipe replaces water main that was installed as far back as the 1920s. The aging transite water lines will be replaced with ductile iron pipes. With the installation of the new water mains, New Jersey American Water customers should experience increased water flows, as well as more reliable water service and fire protection. These water main improvements are part of New Jersey American Water’s multimillion dollar program to accelerate the renewal of water infrastructure that is reaching the end of its useful life in more than 100 communities across the state. Beginning in November, New Jersey American Water crews will be working along the following streets. In Cherry Hill: • Maplebrook Court between North Brookfield Road to End of Roadway • Greenbrook Road between South Woodstock Drive to North Brookfield Road • Pinebrook Road between South Woodstock Drive to North Valleybrook Road • North Brookfield Road between Haddonfield Berlin Road (CR-561) to South Brookfield Road • Glenview Place between Haddonfield Berlin Road (CR-561) to South Woodstock Drive In Cinnaminson: • Jefferson Street; between US-130 to Division Street • Webster Street between Jefferson Street to Adams Street In Gibbsboro: • Gibbsboro-Kirkwood Road (CR-684) from Hillards Road (CR-701) to Clement Road East (CR-686) • Washington Street from Gibbsboro-Kirkwood Road (CR-684) to Haddon Ave (CR-561) In Westampton: • Holly Lane from Burlington-Mount Holly Road (CR-541) to East Pennington Drive • Seeley Drive from Orchard Lane to East Pennington Drive • Stratton Drive from East Pennington Drive to End of Roadway
