CASH ONLY AUCTION OCTOBER 3, 2015 (Saturday) – 9 AM VIEWING OF VEHICLES WILL START AT 8:45 AM Parking for this event is provided in the Hamilton County Educational Center parking lot on Civic Center Drive. If you park in a parking lot on Hamilton Avenue, your vehicle may be towed. The rear parking lot of the Sheriff’s Office, 11021 Hamilton Avenue, is reserved for individuals who have been issued a state motor vehicle disability placard.
READ THE BELOW CAREFULLY BEFORE REGISTERING TO BID
Bidders must register to receive a bid number. To register you must display a photo identification card issued by a U.S. governmental agency. You must also provide your social security number, your current home address and telephone number. Please have your ID available when you register.
Make sure you obtain a new auction list prior to the start of the auction as it may contain information not provided on the HCSO.org website or on any lists obtained prior to the date of this auction. Any listed auction vehicle may be removed from the auction by the Sheriff’s Office before or during the auction. If there is a minimum bid, the minimum bid will be announced before bidding starts for that vehicle. Announcements made at the time of the auction take precedence over previous announcements or advertising.
The only acceptable method of payment is cash. DO NOT BID UNLESS YOU ARE PREPARED TO PAY BY CASH WITHIN ONE HOUR OF THE LAST AUCTION VEHICLE BEING SOLD.
VEHICLES ARE SOLD AS IS, WHERE IS. There are no warranties or guaranties, expressed or implied, as to the working condition of the auction vehicle. Do not bid unless you understand and accept this condition. As the seller, we have no has background history on the prior use or possible misuse of any auction vehicle and the future utility of any auction vehicle is neither known nor guaranteed. The act of bidding on an auction vehicle is acknowledgement the buyer has waived any expressed or implied warranty of any current or future fitness for a particular purpose or merchantability. Sheriff’s Office mechanics will assist with jump-starting a vehicle a maximum of two times.
ALL SALES ARE FINAL - VEHICLES ARE NOT RETURNABLE FOR ANY REASON. If you made the final bid, you have bought the vehicle. If you leave without paying and claiming your vehicle, appropriate legal action will be taken to obtain the amount of your bid from you.
Auction vehicles with a salvage title cannot be legally operated on public roadways, except to and from the Ohio Highway Patrol Inspection Facility. An auction vehicle with a salvage title must have the title converted to a rebuilt salvage title in order to legally operate the vehicle on the public roadways. Review Ohio State Highway Patrol publication 1187 for more information and contact the Ohio State Highway Patrol for vehicle inspection costs.
Auctioned vehicles must be removed within one hour of the last auction vehicle being sold, unless arrangements have been made with the Sheriff’s Office Property Unit Supervisor.
