DO NOT throw away your bib as you will need it to receive your finisher entitlements and  retrieve your belongings at bag check.   Proceed back to the start/finish line. DO NOT attempt to complete the remainder of the 30KM route.

15KM  No checkpoints No cut-off time.

30km runners The 30KM is an out and back. At the 15KM mark, you will see the Takamizusan Jyou Fukuin building. Go inside, ring the bell, say a prayer, and receive a lucky charm bell from race staff. The lucky charm serves as proof of your having reached the turn around point.  You may not change from the 30KM to the 15KM event on the day of the event as this creates problems with the timing system.

Beginners and those seeking a less intense pace should start in the back of the pack. Be courteous to hikers and those sharing the trails. Thank them when they move to the side of the trail for you and try to let them know when you're coming up behind them.  Do not litter. Hold on to your trash and throw it away at the aid stations.  Stay on the trail and be vigilant of your surroundings! Take care not to trample plants and vegetation.
