Continuing Education University and College Academic Pathway Program Adult International Students

Program



Toronto District School Board’s Academic Pathway Program is available to adult international students who wish to attend a Canadian college or university but do not meet the English language proficiency.

• T eachers are highly qualified and experienced members of the Ontario College of Teachers.

• September – November

• Curriculum follows Ontario Ministry of Education guidelines, which is recognized by all Canadian colleges and universities.

Program Features



Semester Start and End Dates

Tuition Fees

• Each credit is $1,750

• Earn Canadian high school credits.

• 2 credits per semester (9 weeks, 4 hours per day) $3,500

• Access to gym, computer labs, and school library.

• Full academic year – 10 months | $14,000

Program Structure

* Tuition fees include: health insurance coverage, materials, and participation fees.

• Four 9-week semesters each year

1. City Adult Learning Centre (CALC) – Downtown Toronto 2. Yorkdale Adult Secondary School - Yorkdale 3. Burnhamthorpe Adult Learning Centre - Etobicoke 4. Scarborough Centre for Alternative Studies – Scarborough 5. Emery Adult learning Centre – North Etobicoke * All our adult high schools are easily accessible by Toronto public transit and are close to shopping malls and restaurants.

• Students can earn up to 3 credits in each semester • Each credit is 2 hours per day

* All five TDSB Adult Learning Centres are recognized Designated Learning Institutions (DLI’s) by Citizenship and Immigration Canada.

• 7 levels of English and other subjects to meet university/college specific requirements

* Letters of Acceptance can be issued through the TDSB for study permit application purposes.
