Patience means “waiting without complaining!” We show patience when we wait without whining for our turn on the swing or our turn to pay at the store. We show patience when we read a book or color while waiting at the doctor’s office or when we wait for our parent to help us get a toy off the shelf. We also show patience when we take a deep breath, do something we like to do or distract ourselves when we are traveling on a long trip.
