STUDENT SELECTION CRITERIA FOR ADMISSION INTO THE NURSING PROGRAM Students applying to the OSU Institute of Technology Nursing Program are selected on the basis of a point system.

POINT SYSTEM Item Kaplan NCLEX Admission Reading Test: 50% - 59% (0) 60 – 69% (1); 70 – 79% (2); 80 – 89 (3); 90 - 100% (4) MUST SCORE 50% OR HIGHER TO BE CONSIDERED FOR THE NURSING PROGRAM Kaplan NCLEX Admission Math Test: 50% - 59% (0) 60 – 69% (1); 70 – 79% (2); 80 – 89 (3); 90 - 100% (4) MUST SCORE 50% OR HIGHER TO BE CONSIDERED FOR THE NURSING PROGRAM GPA (only courses required for nursing degree; will only be calculated for 12 or more hours) 3.9 – 4.0…….
