Marie and Algoma District. The Community Geomatics Centre (CGC) is a division of SSMIC which is dedicated to promoting and establishing the means to share data, knowledge and tools among community organizations to create healthier, safer and more prosperous communities. Development and enhancement of web and desktop based GIS tools and applications Creation and maintenance of system documentation

Desired Profile: • • • • • • •

Working experience with .NET (VB or C#) Working experience with XML, HTML, Adobe Flex, JavaScript and ArcGIS Server preferred Experience in developing applications in Oracle and MS SQL relational database environments Must have excellent communication and analytical skills Knowledge of GIS (ESRI) is desirable Must be able to learn new technology quickly Must be able to follow directions with little guidance

Education: Computer Programmer Diploma, University Degree in Computer Science Experience: Should have at least one-year working experience in GIS programming or a general programming role.
