ARRIVAL & DEPARTURE FROM BERLIN TEGEL AIRPORT Enter bus TXL and buy your ticket for zones AB inside the bus. You ride the bus until you reach station "S Beusselstraße". Here, you change to the Metro (your ticket is still valid) and take the train S41. Once you reach the station "S+U Schönhauser Allee" you exit the train and leave the station to the left onto Schönhauser Allee. You will reach the hostel after about 500 metres on the right side of the street. The ride from the airport to the hostel takes about 45 minutes.

FROM BERLIN SCHÖNEFELD AIRPORT Walk to the Metro-Station of the airport. At the station, you buy your ticket for zones ABC at one of the vending machines. Next, look for the platform with the "S" signs next to the stairs leading upwards. These stairs lead to the platform you need to go to! On the platform, validate your ticket and board train S9. Once you reach the station "S+U Schönhauser Allee" you exit the train and leave the station to the left onto Schönhauser Allee. You will reach the hostel after about 500 metres on the right side of the street. The ride from Schönefeld airport to the hostel takes about 1 hour.

FROM BERLIN CENTRAL STATION  Leave the station towards the exit "Europaplatz" and walk to the tram station. Here, you board the next tram of line M1 towards "Warschauer Straße". Buy your ticket for zones AB inside the tram at the vending machine (you will need coins!). The ticket is validated already. Ride the tram until the stop "U Eberswalder Straße" and exit the tram. Now you walk onto the street "Schönhauser Allee" to the left. You will reach the hostel after about 300 metres on the left side of the street. The ride from the train-station to the hostel takes about 20 minutes.

ARRIVAL & DEPARTURE FROM ALCATRAZ BACKPACKER HOSTEL Walk to the station "S + U Schönhauser Allee" (around 5 minutes). At the station you buy a ticket directly to Eberswalde Main Station, this is 5,70€ one way. Go to the platform with the green "S" and board the train S42. Exit the train the next station at "Berlin Gesundbrunnen". There you need to transfer to another train. Search for RE3, this is a regional train, no public city transportation. It usually pulls out from platform 10. Board this train till you reach Eberswalde Main Station (around 50 minutes). From there you can take a walk to the university (around 15 minutes) or take the bus 861 / 862. Ride the bus until you reach the station "Friedrich Ebert Straße". This ist next to the university. 

FROM BERLIN CENTRAL STATION  Buy a ticket directly to Eberswalde Main Station, this is 5,70€ one way. Board the train RE3, this is a regional train, no public city transportation. Board this train till you reach Eberswalde Main Station (around 1 hour). From there you can take a walk to the university (around 15 minutes) or take the bus 861 / 862. Ride the bus until you reach the station "Friedrich Ebert Straße". This ist next to the university.

About Prinzessinnengarten Prinzessinnengarten is an urban place of learning. It is where locals can come together to experiment and discover more about organic food production, biodiversity and climate protection. The space will help them adapt to climate change and learn about healthy eating, sustainable living and a future-oriented urban lifestyle. With this project, the founders intend to increase biological, social and cultural diversity in the neighbourhood and pioneer a new way of living together in the city. Their garden-café & kitchen is open during the gardening season April to October and offers food and drinks made from local seasonal products. They are trying to mainly use the harvest from their own garden as well as products from regional organic producers from Berlin and surrounding areas. All the revenues from the bar and the kitchen contribute directly to the non-profit learning activities in Prinzessinnengarten.

Many seating opportunities invite you to relax. Events such as „Balkan rhythms - come and dance“, “Summer dreams for seven evenings” or “Enjoying wild plants“ provide plenty of variety in the garden and during the guided tour we learn more about the greenery in a topic-related manner. THURSDAY, 20.09.2018 EXPLORE THE MUSEUM OF EBERSWALDE & DINNER  The museum Eberswalde exhibits valuable testimonies of the regional and city history. The museum is domiciled in the oldest half-timbered house of the city the Adler pharmacy since 1997 and is accessible. We´ll get an short introduction and then we can explore the museum with an interesting topic regarding east west history on our own. Afterwards spend the evening together with the group and enjoy delicious german food in the old brewery in Eberswalde. (pay for yourself).
