PUBLIC NOTICE I-580/I-80 Distribution Structure Project The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) will hold public meetings to discuss upcoming construction activities and impacts for the I-580/I-80 Distribution Structure Project. The project will rehabilitate the I-580 and I-80 freeway and connector ramps at the Distribution Structure. The project will be constructed in two phases. OPEN HOUSE: Wednesday, May 8, 2013 at the Auditorium, Caltrans District Office, 111 Grand Avenue, Oakland, CA. from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. OPEN HOUSE: Thursday, May 9, 2013 at the Emeryville City Hall, Garden Level Conference Room, 1333 Park Avenue, Emeryville, CA. from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. PROJECT SCHEDULE Construction for the Phase 1 project will begin May 15, 2013. Construction for the Phase 2 project will begin March 2014.
