Bids\Purchase I have a specification for the underground storage tank at WBS, but need one for Central Office. Future – PMS lift to the music area and removal of the UST from CO.
Revenue/Advertising Softball scoreboard – The pile driving is completed. PO created for concrete pouring. Next is the steel columns and I will call Dan Lilly at Stonington Steel in the next week.
Transportation I have provided student addresses to First Student so they can provide the routes for the 2016-17 year using Versitrans (New system). Quote received for the engineering and land survey proposal. Does not require a bid. I need to call Jason Vincent, Town of Stonington Director of Planning for a meeting to see what needs to happen to get this parcel done this year.
Facilities/Security The State requires the BOE to resubmit the security plans annually. My department will work with local officials to modify the plan and present it to the BOE in the fall.
Other Working towards going totally organic on the baseball field and it will go through one more baseball season with improvements before being over-hauled. I will put this on the BOE CIP for consideration. Next month – First view of CIP for the Board.
