Social Media Volunteer Fellowship Position Description Join a supportive and energised cohort of other emerging social change practitioners who are working to protect the web of life across Australia. ACF acknowledges the structural barriers that make gaining experience in any field of work more difficult for many communities in Australia. We highly encourage Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people, people from CALD backgrounds, LGBTIQA+ people and others who may face structural barriers in our society to apply for this opportunity.

About the Australian Conservation Foundation: The Australian Conservation Foundation is Australia’s national environment organisation – over half a million people creating a world where forests, rivers, people and wildlife thrive. A handful of people formed ACF 50 years ago when mining first threatened the Great Barrier Reef. Now the ACF community has grown into a powerful force for nature. We bring together people from community, government and business. Our community advocates against pollution and destruction, and for our living world. We hold decision makers to account. We champion big ideas and find common ground with unlikely partners. We love and protect the web of life right across our continent, from the Kimberley to the reef, down the Great Dividing Range to Tasmania’s forests. People power our campaigns. We are proudly independent, non-partisan and funded by donations from our community.

The Fellowship program offers an opportunity to develop skills and get hands-on experience. The afternoon will be spent developing training handbooks for ACF’s Change the Story Team and Moderator Team, posting in Facebook groups, designing social media training webinars and producing RSVP landing pages for webinars.
