Netminder Lukas Hafner has played 12 games in between the pipes during the playoffs with a GAA of 2.60 and a save percentage at 0.896. All-Time History vs. Colorado Although Colorado joined the ECHL at the start of the 2011-12 season, the Eagles and Stingrays had never met before this year. In their first-ever series back in November the Eagles got the best of the Rays, winning two of three games in North Charleston. Colorado again won two of three when the teams played another series during the first week of March in Loveland but South Carolina was victorious in the most recent matchup with a 4-1 win on Mar. 4. Archambault’s Big Night Stingrays forward Olivier Archambault had a breakout performance in Wednesday’s Game 7 victory over Manchester in the Eastern Conference Finals. Archambault struck for two goals, including the game-winner at 8:56 of the third period and also led the team with five shots on net. The forward’s seven postseason tallies rank second on the team, while his four game-winning goals is tied for the most in the ECHL’s Kelly Cup Playoffs. Milner Saving His Best For The Postseason Goaltender Parker Milner has been great in between the pipes for South Carolina during the postseason. While starting in all of the Rays’ 18 playoff games, Milner has a goals against average of 2.17, a save percentage at 0.920, three shutouts and 12 wins. The netminder is high among the league leaders in all categories during the Kelly Cup Playoffs. Milner has done his best work at home, allowing just 13 total goals during nine contests in North Charleston for a GAA of 1.44 to go along with a save percentage at 0.950. Scoring First Leading To Success The Stingrays are 7-0 when scoring the first goal during their postseason run. South Carolina has allowed the first strike in 11 of their playoff contests and have still managed to come from behind and win five of those games. Three of the team’s four wins in the Eastern Conference Finals came in come-from-behind fashion.
