A. Synopsis: Project Management is essential for organization such as firms that are in the business of either project implementation on a regular basis, or undertakes projects as a one endeavor. The focus of this course would be to expose the students to different aspects of project proposal preparation as well as implementation of the same. This course is destined to be a reference point for all those students who want to develop their career in the field of global operations management being project management one of the areas of operations. To achieve this, in this course will study the major theories, concepts and tools used in companies for the management of international projects from both academic and practical perspective. This course would benefit students of professional programs, especially under Management Study Program. Moreover, a professionally oriented student who aspires to be a Project Team member in his or her career would benefit by this course, which is the primary reason that it is being offered at bachelor level.

D. Assessment: COURSE WORK

Group Assignment Presentation of Project Management

CRITERIA

Group assignment (each group 3 – 5 students). The presentation assignment should be presented in the class for each group, based on the schedule of week class. Each presentation should take about 15 – 30 minutes included for question and answers.

The group should prepare the power point including a movie related to the title business plan, which will be shown during the presentation session. Objective of the group presentation assignment are students understand the process of cooperative management, and then discussing in the class.

Group Assignment Report Writing of Project Management

The written assignment should not exceed 2.500 words (between 15 – 25 pages), excluding appendices and the reference list. Content of the report writing same to the title of presentation. Objective of the report writing is students should learn to work in teams to analyze a problem.
