Expertise and Work Experience
From 2003 to 2013 I worked for the Internationally known Aerostich. I held all of the following positions at my 10 years at the company. Main Company Buyer – 2012-2013 Worked with all departments to implement the new company buying function into the new ERP Software (Netsuite) Enterprise Resource Management System. Negotiated strategies and terms with our product vendors paper, print and co-mail vendors. Worked with outside garment production companies on some of our branded products as well as help them source an international production solution that would fit our established Aerostich brand needs. Catalog Marketing – 2005 to 2013 Worked with book publishing projects and in the catalog industry and magazine advertising. I have hands on and extensive experience in catalog marketing, co-mail distribution programs and prospect list marketing as well as A/B project testing. Print Buyer – 2005 to 2013 Responsible for obtaining and analyzing bids for our catalog production efforts. Solicited bids from the most competitive printers available. Analyzed bids in terms of manufacturing costs, paper usage efficiency and co-mail programs. Worked with paper broker to achieve best price on paper. We produced 6 full color catalogs per year ranging from 46 pages to 242 pages with a combine circulation of well over 1 million. Analyzed and compared the various vendors co-mailing distribution services as well as their manufacturing and production efficiency and paper waste in the production. The goal was to achieve a real apples to apples comparison of their true cost on the projects. Web and Catalog Production – 2004 to 2012 Responsible for creating all web images for the website as well as website updates and all product updates on quarterly basis. Added and configured all the new product offerings to our enterprise ecommerce software Magento. Assisted catalog and web production teams with production duties and was the digital asset manager, which I managed with Adobe Bridge. Worked with print vendors and our catalog production team to ensure digital formats and data transfers were completed correctly. Fill in Controller -2003 to 2004 Co-Owner Operator of Local Web Development Company – Downs Digital Design Inc. 1998 to 2005 During that time I ran 2 large community websites. One for the Superior-Douglas County Chamber of Commerce and the other one for the Superior Douglas County Visitors Bureau. I also set up and ran the web advertising program for both sites. In addition I sent up and operated the chambers first opt in opt out online newsletter back in 2000 called the Monday Morning News. I was a very early developer in the internet space having started the company in 1998 and have kept current with all of the new and innovative technologies available today.
