Join Tangroupe! Tangroupe was unofficially founded in September 2006 and became an official OPERS organization in Fall 2007. The once small group of four dancers under the instruction of Brenda Barcelo has grown into a recreation club with 100 members and a performance troupe of 30 dancers. Tangroupe has performed throughout the Bay Area and has earned First Place for Formation Dance in the 2008 and 2009 Berkeley Ballroom Classic dance competition for skill and choreography.
