With 4,500 acres of green space and more than 6.5 miles of urban trail on the Shelby Farms Greenline, Shelby Farms Park is a community treasure, unrivaled in size and potential anywhere else in the United States. The Park is home to dozens of lakes and ponds, which are fit for fishing, including Patriot Lake, which is also fit for paddling and sailing. The rolling hills, open meadows, and trails, both paved and unpaved, provide nearly unlimited access to a sprawling natural space. Whether hiking through the wooded areas or taking in the scenery during a stroll across the Wolf River Pedestrian Bridge, visitors are sure make a personal connection with the Park. Be sure to visit the Woodland Discovery Playground – a world class, sustainably certified play landscape for ages 12 and under. Bathrooms are available at the VIsitor Center and Woodland Discovery Playground. Water Fountains are available at The Visitor
