• Preferred
• Excellent choice for broadleaf weed
choice for many invasive and noxious weeds • High picloram AI load per gallon • Provides lasting weed control through soil residual • Translocates throughout the plant for complete control to the roots • Safe to most cool and warm season grasses • No grazing restrictions, except for lactating dairy animals (See label for specific restrictions)
control in rangeland and pasture applications • Convenient premix of picloram and 2,4-D • Provides lasting weed control through soil residual • Translocates throughout the plant for complete control to the roots • Safe to most cool and warm season grasses • No grazing restrictions, except for lactating dairy animals (See label for specific restrictions)
MODE OF ACTION
Picloram is a member of the pyridine family of herbicides which include Clopyralid and triclopyr. Picloram is a systemic herbicide that is rapidly absorbed by both foliage and roots. It is translocated throughout the plant via the phloem and accumulates in new growth where synthesis of nucleic acids and proteins are suppressed leading to plant death in a few days or weeks.
