Using Excel to solve the assignment One way ANOVA: 1. Cut and paste the data into the Excel worksheet. 2. Select the tools menu Æ data analysis… 3. Select ‘ANOVA: single Factor’ and click OK

4. Fill the required fields: a. for input range highlight the dataset b. If you have highlighted the labels (column titles) then make sure you check the ‘labels in first row’ box c. Point to ‘output range’ and select where you want the data to be. d. Click OK to see the ANOVA table.

Randomized block ANOVA 1. Repeat steps 1 and 2. 2. Select ‘ANOVA: Two Factor without Replication’ 3. Continue with step 4 as before
