v2.6 Release Now Available The latest release of the MachiningCloud App is now available from www.machiningcloud.com/get-started.
With the release of Mastercam 2018, Mastercam is now connected to MachiningCloud! The Mastercam MachiningCloud connection provides users access to MachiningCloud’s cutting tool product data from within Mastercam. Mastercam customers now have direct access to complete and up-todate cutting tool product data from the leading cutting tool manufacturers available on MachiningCloud. With the completed Mastercam MachiningCloud connection, key benefits are available to customers: ▪▪ Search for tools from multiple manufacturers quickly in one place ▪▪ Access manufacturer’s expert cutting tool recommendations ▪▪ Quickly filter a universe of possibilities down to an optimum solution for a given workpiece ▪▪ Import the selected product data into Mastercam for programming ▪▪ Utilize the 3D models for simulation and 2D drawings for documenClick here to see the video of the Mastercam MachiningCloud interface. tation

Schultz, IMCO, Ingersoll, ISCAR, Kennametal, Mitsubishi Materials, North American Tool, PHorn, Raptor, RobbJack, TaeguTec, WIDIA and WNT ■■ Over 294,423 products and 365,377 3D models available. 37,669 product changes and 117,933 updated 3D models ■■ The export to Mastercam 2018 is enabled ■■ Items can be inserted in the middle of an assembly. This simplifies making a tool longer by inserting an extension, for instance ■■ 2D drawings can be generated for all brands ■■ Major enhancements have been made to the 2D drawings generation to comply with the BMG/ISO13399 standards ■■ RFQ (Request for Quote) is enabled for each brand.
