WELCOME Dear Attendee, FetFest has been growing and changing since it began as an idealistic twinkle in BritishLuckyPaul’s eye back in 2010. One of his goals and a goal of all the staff at FetFest is to make this an event created by you, for you. Over the years, you and your fellow kinksters from around the world have come by the hundreds to share in the positive energy and creative shenanigans that make FetFest what it is today. Paul, myself, and the rest of the staff want to thank all of you for making it possible to have this event. RULES Nearly everyone hates rules. Just like you, we want as few as possible. The venue is fully aware of the nature of our event and has a solid history of giving alternative groups complete freedom. This freedom is what makes FetFest events such a magical place for our community. We plan on protecting that freedom while keeping things safe. The event and dungeon rules are posted here to outline our expectations for attendees. We want to keep things open and transparent, so we’re all on the same page when we arrive at the event. We figure, once you’re there, the less time you have to spend reading the rules, the more time there is to have fun. EVENT RULES (FetFest 2013) 1. Registration (check-in) opens at 10:00am on Friday, August 30th. a. Unless you are on staff, or plan to volunteer with set-up, please do not arrive early. b. The entrance driveway will be open 24 hours a day during the event. You and your passengers/cabin mates must be registered and hold government issued photo ID(s) that match their registrations to enter the first time. c. FetFest is an 18+ event. No-one without government issued, photo I.D. will be permitted to enter the event. d. At registration, you will be given a name tag and wristband which must be worn AT ALL TIMES throughout the duration of the event. 2. Everyone must be off the property by Monday, September 2nd at Noon. 3. No refunds or exchanges. All sales are final. Tickets are non-transferable. Gift registrations become the property of the named registrant. 4. Photography a. Absolutely no photography, filming, or videoing is permitted at the event with the exception of official photographers. Many people have legitimate reasons for not wanting to be photographed, even in the background. Phones and other smart phones are also particularly problematic due to their ability to rapidly upload photos online rendering deletion/confiscation largely useless. Attendees caught breaking this rule will be removed from the event without a refund. 5. Free parking is provided. You will have access to your vehicle during the event. 6. You are welcome to drink alcohol but not become drunk. BYOB means bring your own beverages, not help yourself to other peoples. If you did not bring it, and the owner of it did not offer it to you, please don’t drink it. 7. Smoking is allowed outside only. 8. No generators (some vendors may have special permission. 9. Illegal drug possession and use is not permitted at any FetFest event. Born Lucky Productions does not allow, support or condone the use of any illegal substances at the event. As an organization, we denounce any affiliation with illegal uses of controlled substances, and comply in entirety with the code of law on said matters. 10. No prostitution or any exchange of money for sexual services is permitted. 11. No guns, no fake guns, no gun replicas, no paintball guns, no crossbows etc. More rules on the other side… 3
12. Law enforcement officers, investigators and journalists and other members of the media are not permitted unless participating solely for their own social purposes. 13. BDSM and its related activities are potentially hazardous in the same way that extreme sports are. By making a voluntary choice to participate in those activities, you assume the risks that they present. In consideration of being permitted to participate in the event, you agree to assume any and all risks of injury, damage or death which may result from your participation in the event. You further agree to sign a waiver at registration releasing FetFest from liability and indemnifying and holding harmless the organizers of the event. 14. Dogs and other pets are not allowed. If you show up with a dog, you will not be admitted into the event. The only exception to this rule is service animals. 15. Be respectful of the facilities and do not cause undue breakage and/or destruction of property.
DUNGEON/PLAYSPACE RULES 1. All play is consensual. Nobody is expected or required to play. 2. Do not touch anyone in any way without express verbal permission. There is no room for implied consent. 3. Scenes a. Do not invade scene space. Keep a respectful distance at all times. b. Never join a scene unless specifically asked to do so. Even if a scene looks spontaneous or chaotic, it may well not be. c. Do not talk to anyone while in a scene or during aftercare. d. Maintain an appropriate distance from scenes while observing. 4. Please keep conversation, laughter and comments to a minimum around play. 5. FetFest events will incorporate as many types and styles of play as there are people at the event. If you see something that you find unsettling, walk away and find somewhere else to be for a while. 6. Any concerns should be raised with a Dungeon Monitor or Staff Member. Never interrupt a scene yourself. 7. No firearms or firearm replicas are permitted. 8. Safe sex supplies (condoms, lube, gloves, chux etc) are provided for use while playing but not for restocking your toy bag. 9. If you are having unprotected sex, we will assume that you are fluid bonded with your partner(s) and not an idiot with a death wish. Please don’t prove us wrong. 10. Use chux (those blue under-pads) whenever body fluids may get onto furniture or the floor. 11. Clean up after your scene. Leave all equipment free of sweat and other bodily fluids, lubricant, wax etc. Cleaning supplies are supplied. 12. Fire-play is permitted in many areas including the indoor and outdoor dungeon areas, but a water bucket, or fire extinguisher must be available and in reach at all times. If you are in a cabin, a wooden building, under a shade structure, in the pavilion etc. no fire play is permitted.

OVERVIEW of LOCATIONS and SERVICES HEADQUARTERS (HQ) In the breezeway by the pool! This is the place where you can always find a staff member with a radio who can assist you. Are you interested in volunteering? Do you have any questions? Ask our friendly staff and they will be happy to help. The Safety and Information teams are located at Headquarters.
Counselors: The Counseling Team at FetFest On-call - Ask a staff member for counseling help at Headquarters, the White House, or anywhere you see someone with a radio. Sometimes, being at an event as fun and rich as this one can be a bit overwhelming, whether you’re brand new to it all or an experienced "veteran". We at FetFest want you to get the most out of your experience and feel safe and supported. We are continuing a tradition this year of providing a Counseling Team. We have a small group of fellow kinksters who are here to help if unexpected feelings arise, or if you are not sure how to cope with high-intensity feelings. We offer a friendly and experienced, peer-counseling "ear". Collectively we draw on a lot of experience. If you have "hit a wall" emotionally, or feel that you don't understand something, or simply need some guidance, please contact any FetFest Staff member. They will locate one our team and then, we will sit down with you and help you work through the situation. Check the board at HQ for more information, including how to recognize us and where we are likely to be found. We're here for you!

VILLAGES From the beginning, our goal at FetFest has been to provide a home for you and your kinky family. We strive to create a place where you can learn and grow, meet new friends, reconnect with old friends and be exposed to others who are outside of your normal "crowd" by offering a "village" setting. Villages host unique events and classes that delve deeper into their own specific worlds. This year, we are proudly hosting a variety of villages representing the diversity of our BSDM family. The following pages include descriptions of each village’s focus and village-specific events. FetFest attendees are welcome to camp anywhere on the festival site, including any village of their choosing. Campers are also invited to visit other villages to learn from fellow kinksters about their interests.
QUEER VILLAGE Lace up your boots, flag your favorite color hanky, and gear up for a weekend of hot queer action with your favorite Queers. We serve as home base and a prime destination for people who feel a part of the Queer and/or Leather community. Stop by our in Village classes and events, we got some fun stuff planned for the weekend that you don’t want to miss. And remember, you don’t have to be Queer to join in on the fun. We embrace the variety and complexity of identities, and have welcomed people who identify as queer, genderqueer, trans, femme, butch, top, bottom, switch, boy, girl, boi, gurl, daddy, mommy, Lady, Sir, bootblack, princess, dragon, woodland sprite, unicorn, scout leader, as well as many other fabulous ways of being, playing and fucking. Basics up to complex, topping and bottoming skills, floor work and head bondage; all will be shown, taught and discussed over the FetFest weekend. At any time there may be "Pop up" classes starting which anyone is welcome to join in on. Your First Scene with Alex McGeorge Are you super new to BDSM? Have you not had many scenes? This class aims to cover many of the basics for newcomers who want to create successful scenes. We will discuss negotiation, warm up, increasing sensation intensity, integration of fantasies, SSC/RACK, safewords, use of scene names, basic after care and we'll talk about some of the ridiculous bullshit in the scene ("True dominants/submissives", "Ye Olde S/M houses of Europe", any sort of old guard council of elders, etc.).
