Visual Thinking – The Basics (including remembering how to draw!)

Who is this workshop for? This 1 day workshop is a great starting point for those wishing to explore how the visual thinking approach can enhance creativity and innovation in their organisation.

How will I benefit from attending this workshop? The workshop will provide you with a range of simple tools and techniques that will enable you to begin using visual thinking approaches immediately back in your organisation. You will also receive a FREE visual thinking kit (worth £100) containing pens, a roll of graphic paper, pastels, tape and a Bikablo Dictionary of Visual Language. This will be yours to keep after the event!

What’s included in the workshop? The workshop includes:  An overview of visual thinking.  Developing and rediscovering the building blocks of drawing.

 An introduction to a range of basic visual thinking tools and techniques exploring: o How graphic recording/visual note taking can create engaging visual records of meeting and events. o How visualising concepts/ideas/strategies and visions can aid understanding, communication and engagement across an organisation o How infographics can be used to communicate complex information in a simple and accessible manner. o How visual thinking techniques can be used to drive innovation, creativity and productivity in meetings and events.  Identifying opportunities to apply the learning’s from the above into your work and your organisation.

What’s the style of this workshop? The workshop style is (as you would expect!) highly visual and interactive and participants will be ‘on the pens’ within a few minutes of the workshop beginning.
