Discover the delights of Ireland on our 4 day tour which includes a guided city tour of its fair capital, followed by the opportunity to sample its world famous export at the Guinness Storehouse. Branching out into the wondrous nearby landscape of the Wicklow Mountains, we unearth Avoca’s woolly secrets, marvel at Glendalough in the Valley of Two Lakes and amble in the glorious gardens of Powerscourt House. Day One - Full day journey to Dublin Your holiday begins when you board our private coach for the journey to Holyhead for the afternoon ferry crossing over the Irish Sea to Dublin. On arrival we continue to our hotel and your included evening meal. Day Two - Dublin This morning features an included guided coach tour of Dublin city. The remainder of the day is free to either explore further at leisure or join an optional tour of Ireland’s number one visitor attraction, the Guinness Storehouse. Dinner at the hotel is again included. Day Three - Wicklow Mountains The first stop on our full day coach tour is Avoca; instantly recognisable as the setting for the TV series ‘Ballykissangel’, yet known globally as the origin of Avoca
Handweavers, now a legendary name in colourful home ware and clothing. A demonstration of the weaving process can be seen during our free tour of Avoca Mill before browsing in the store. Our second stop at remarkable Glendalough in the Valley of the Two Lakes, offers the chance to pop into the Visitor Centre (entrance not included) as well as purchase lunch in one of the town’s many catering outlets. Our tour rounds off with our included entrance to the famous formal gardens at Powerscourt House, magnificently set against a backdrop of Wicklow’s Sugarloaf Mountain. After free time we return to our hotel.
Our Chosen Hotel Accommodation will be provided in a comfortable hotel of a three star standard, which has been inspected by our operations team. Due to the enormous popularity of this tour we expect to operate many coaches therefore we are unable to confirm the exact hotel at this stage, but it will be located in the Dublin area to ensure easy access to the tours attractions. The hotel will have the facilities you would expect such as en suite bathroom, colour television, tea and coffee facilities and a bar and restaurant.
Day Four - Return journey home An early morning return ferry crossing brings us back to the UK where we return to your local area.
