Cabin Air Filters Cabin Air Filter Prefix Change Due to the growth of the Cabin Air Filter line, Hastings Premium Filters has created a new prefix. Beginning in mid-January 2010, all Hastings cabin air filters will have the prefix “AFC.” The base number for these cabin air filters will not change, for example, AF1002 will become AFC1002. Filters with the old prefix are still good and will be located in the printed, online and electronic catalog under the same number with the “AFC” prefix. This catalog reflects the change to the new prefix.

17. Turn wheel on filter housing cover 90° counter clockwise. 18. Remove filter housing cover. 19. Bend filter at folding points and remove. 20. Replace filter (bend new filter at folding points, with tab facing out) and reassemble.

1. Open passenger side door. 2. Unsnap tabs on back of filter housing cover located under glove compartment. 3. Slide filter housing cover forward to unsnap tabs in front. 4. Remove filter housing cover.

1. Open passenger side door. 2. Open glove compartment. 3. Remove square locking tabs from either side of glove compartment opening. 4. Remove screws on left, center and right of glove compartment opening.

10. Remove center access panel under glove compartment. 11. Remove two screws under glove compartment and one screw on metal bar.

Close glove compartment. Remove right access panel on right side of glove compartment. Remove screws under right access panel. Remove left access panel (under radio panel) on left side of glove compartment. 9. Remove screw on right side under left access panel.

12. Remove glove compartment and disconnect light wire on left side. 13. Remove remaining screw on metal bar and remove metal bar. 14. Remove filter housing cover. 15. Pull out first filter. Slide second filter into opening, then remove. 16. Replace filters in reverse order and reassemble. 119
