The Sheriff’s Office Scholarship Fund is a partnership between the MCSO and the Montgomery County Community College Foundation. The MCSO set up an endowment fund through the Foundation that will provide financial assistance to its employees and family members pursuing degree programs at the College.
“I am so grateful to Montgomery County Community College Foundation, and our generous sponsors, donors, and volunteers who helped us provide this great benefit to our staff,” said Sheriff Sean P. Kilkenny. “Blue Bell Country Club did an outstanding job in making it a great experience for our golfers and guests.” Players had the added bonus of hitting their strokes during the first solar eclipse to occur in the United States in almost 100 years. “The eclipse definitely added a fun element and made it more memorable,” said Kilkenny. “We’re already starting to plan for next year’s event so, stay tuned.” Sponsors and donors include 911 Safety Equipment, LLC; AFSCME District Council 88; Arthur J.
