Connecting Rods
All connecting rods are cleaned and inspected for defects prior to remanufacturing. Rods are then shotpeened for stress relief and the size is checked against OEM specifications. New piston pin bushings are installed in each rod and bored to the correct center to center dimensions. The center to center dimension greatly affects the performance of your engine and is a step that many remanufacturers ignore. Final assembly of our connecting rods includes installation of new rod bolts and product dimensions, including bend and twist, are verified one final time. Application

All worn parts are replaced, and tolerances are checked to guarantee our oil pumps will perform to OEM specifications. The pump is reassembled and, as a safety measure, each pump is lubricated with Clevite Bearing Guard to ensure there is no damage during initial start up. All of our injection pumps are disassembled, thoroughly cleaned and inspected. All worn out parts are replaced and the pumps are reassembled with new gaskets. Pumps are tested for leaks and fuel delivery at low idle, high idle, full load, part load and starting. Any pump with an automatic advance system has the advance set.
