Objectives It is intended that the students have capacities to recognize and characterize the principal concepts, definitions and contents of management and organization of touristic itineraries allied to animation and critical analysis of the case studies presented. • To dominate or to control the relative nomenclature to touristic itineraries; • To proportion the practical knowledge that allow to prepare studies and projects of elaboration and of touristic itineraries organization; • To elaborate and to implement touristic itineraries; • To recognize the importance of the itineraries for organization, valorization and the promotion of national touristic offer, as such as the contribution to the local development, regional and national; • To reflect about Accessible Tourism in the itinerary context; • To organize touristic itineraries for handicap people; • To recognize touristic identification in the context; • To manage and organize moments of touristic animation; • To recognize the value of the touristic itineraries accordingly to touristic visits, as well as their time of staying. Teaching Methods Theoric classes: attended classes where the curricular unity theorical concepts are exposed. In these classes the most relevant aspects and complexes are exposed in this curricular unity. Theorical and Pratical classes: attended classes that have as essential function the contemplation of situations where the acquisition of knowledgements and competences justify the realization of written exercices. Tutorial orientation: to give support hours to students scientific works elaboration/preparation. Fieldwork: in this category all students work it is considered including research, study and reflexition. Seminar: preparation and presentation of students works coadjutored with guests participation from different bodies/organisms that combine/integrate in the ambit of the same works presentation.
Assessment Continuous evaluation: attendance (obligatory presence in 75% of taught lessons); active participation in classes; written exercises; realization of written works/papers and oral presentation; attendance during time table hours by the professor, for tutorial orientation; written examination. Attendence in all taught lessons and in tutorial support hours, active and constructive participation in classes and in the written exercises, involves 20% of total evaluation; works and oral presentation, involves 40% of total evaluation; written examination, involves 40% of total evaluation. The written examination can not be less than 10 to be able to consider the rest of the evaluation. Periodical evaluation: written work involves 30% of total evaluation and the written examination involves 70% of total evaluation.
