NOTE: READ INSTRUCTIONS COMPLETELY BEFORE INSTALLING THIS BRACKETRON PHONE MOUNT. All instructions are written from the driver’s seat position looking forward at the vehicle dash. We advise caution whenever you are removing or handling plastic parts of a vehicle’s dash. WARNING: Unnecessary force or pressure can cause pieces to crack or break. Logo and part number will be right-side up and readable when installed. TOOLS NEEDED: Dash Trim Tool, (Part #SIT-104), Ford Radio Removal Tool, (Part #SIT-101) #2 Phillips Screwdriver, 7mm nut driver, small course file, 5/64” drill bit & drill. PARTS INCLUDED: Three (3) #8x1/2” screws. LOCATION OF MOUNT: To the left of the radio. Release Switch

Step 1. Locate the large dash panel just below the steering column. Grasp the lower-right corner of this panel and carefully pull it toward you to release the lower right clip. Carefully work the rest of the panel loose releasing four (4) more clips. Place the loose panel in a safe place. Use your left hand to reach up inside the open panel area and locate a release button on top of the headlight switch mechanism. Pull the black plastic switch/knob outward while pressing down on this release button to remove the switch/knob. Set the knob aside. Remove the black plastic retainer ring by turning it counter clockwise. Set the ring aside.
Step 2. Remove two (2) 7mm screws located in the upper part of the instrument cluster. Remove the radio using the Ford Radio Removal Tools. Insert the tools in the face of the radio just far enough to hear and feel a slight click. Apply outward pressure on both tools while pulling the radio out of its cavity. Carefully remove the wiring harness and antenna cable. Set the radio in a safe place.
Step 3. Apply the parking brake and place the transmission into low gear. Remove the large dash bezel that reaches from the right of the radio all the way to the left of the steering column. This bezel has twelve (12) clips holding it. Insert the Dash Trim Panel Tool in the lower right corner of the bezel to the right of the radio. Carefully pry the tool toward you to release the first clip. Continue all the way around the bezel releasing the remaining eleven (11) clips. Release the wiring that is attached to the bezel and set the bezel aside. Carefully remove the bezel from the dash and set it aside.
Step 4. Locate an area to the left of the radio that has a small piece of plastic and an open area. Note: Please see picture number two at left. Use the small file to carefully remove the ridge of plastic so the area is flat. Place the Bezel Mount on this flat area so that is fits the shape of the dash pad. Mark three spots for drilling pilot holes using the holes in the Bezel Mount as a guide. Remove the mount and carefully drill three pilot holes using a 5/64” drill bit and drill. Place the Bezel Mount back into position and insert the #8x1/2” screws and tighten the mount down. Carefully reinstall the dash in reverse order. Install any Bracketron phone holder or Amps compatible device to your Bezel Mount. Your installation is complete.
