Installing & Using ShoreTel Professional Services Report Web Site (Cost Recovery Report for Administrators) Install on ShoreTel Director Server (version 7 or greater) by launching STPSReportWebSetup.exe. Accept all defaults until installation is complete. If the server does not already have Microsoft .NET version 2, you will be prompted to download and install this Microsoft update first. After installation, you are ready to run…see examples following this page… NOTE: If you receive an error message on the first test, Microsoft IIS may need to be restarted. To restart IIS, select StartÆRunÆinetmgr. In IIS Manager, right click on your server’s name in the left pane, select All TasksÆRestart IIS. WARNING: Restarting IIS may impact other ShoreTel client services (e.g. an interruption in Call Manager client communications). Perform this after hours if this is a concern.

The main report web page is at http:///STPSReports replacing with either localhost if you are running Internet Explorer from the ShoreTel Director server or by the host name or IP address of the ShoreTel Director server if you are accessing from another computer (note you must have ShoreTel’s Web Reporting license to run reports from another computer).

After selecting a report, you will see the parameter entry page for that report…see below for the CostRecoveryCall example…

Choose parameters and select “Run Report” button and you will see the output.…see below. In the case of the Cost Recovery Call Report, you may choose the date range, the time range, and whether to include call details (a listing of each call versus a summary only). NOTE: The first time you run a report you may be prompted to install a Crystal Reports ActiveX control. If you see the familiar Internet Explorer warning bar at the top of the page…right click and allow the installation.
