INVITATION & CALL FOR PAPERS FEUP PORTO 30 ·31 OCTOBER 2017
Keynote Lecturers
Welcome to ISDAC2017 · International Symposium on the Dynamics and Aerodynamics of Cables.
Masaru Matsumoto
The International Symposium on the Dynamics and Aerodynamics of Cables (ISDAC 2017) will be held on October 30-31, 2017 at the campus of the Faculty of Engineering of the University of Porto (FEUP) in Porto, Portugal.
On generation mechanism of rain-wind induced vibration (RWIV) and dry-galloping(DG) of inclined stay cables and their aerodynamic stabilization
ISDAC 2017 is dedicated to researchers, engineers, developers, operators and students from diverse engineering fields (mechanical, electrical engineering, civil, off shore engineering, …). The Symposium will address topics related to power lines, guyed masts, cable-supported bridges, marine structures, etc..
Cable aerodynamics in Eurocode – An engineering point of view
Involving some of the most active researchers in the area from all over the world in the Scientific Committee, we expect to create the conditions for a warm exchange of ideas and experiences and hope to enhance the creation of a network framing future initiatives in the areas of Dynamics and Aerodynamics of Cables. On behalf of the Organising Committee, I would like to invite you to participate and present your contribution at ISDAC 2017. I look forward to seeing you in Porto
