Centre ffor or De velopment of Adv anced Computing (C-D AC) is the premier R&D organization of the Department of Electronics and Development Advanced (C-DA Information Technology (DeitY), Ministry of Communications & Information Technology (MCIT), Government of India has been at the forefront of the Information Technology (IT) revolution, constantly building capacities in emerging/enabling technologies, innovating and leveraging its expertise, skill sets to develop and deploy IT products and solutions. Software Training and Development Centre (STDC), the training division of C-DAC, Thiruvananthapuram has been in the forefront of Training since 1992. STDC focuses on generation of quality manpower in advanced software areas, imparting high level training on IBM Mainframe, Embedded Systems, Open Source Technologies and other advanced areas of Information Technology. C-DAC (T) holds its Quality Management System to comply with the requirements of ISO 9001:2008.

Selection Procedure Admission is made through a selection procedure comprising of written test/interview. The selected candidates should pay the course fee in full and join the course immediately.
The progress of the trainees is evaluated on their performance in theory and practicals. C-DAC awards certificates to the trainees upon successful completion of the course. Minimum attendance of 90% is mandatory. An appropriated grading system is employed in the assessment of performance.
How to Register Placement Assistance Placement Assistance is provided to the students of various courses of STDC, however STDC does not guarantee placements, Campus recruitment by companies are governed by the recruitment policies of the company.
Registration may be done by applying in the prescribed form, duly filled, along with a Demand Draft drawn in favour of C-DAC, Thiruvananthapuram or Chalan (facility available at SBT, Technopark Campus) for a nonrefundable amount of Rs 200 + Service Tax as Registration Fee.
