It is a great pleasure and honor to extend to you a warm invitation to attend ICDMAI 2017 to be held 24 - 26 February 2017 at Zeal Education Society, Pune, India. On one hand, the portability requirement of mobile computing platforms increases the popularity of small form factor and small-scale batteries. On the other, with the advances of increasingly complex multimedia and web based applications require high performance multi-CPU cores and high bandwidth modems with high data rates. Such complex applications demand high power consumption with multi-level of tasking. This has led to exponential increase in the number of people using latest technologies and also their interest in research and development activities. To prepare ourselves for this global competition, Zeal Institute of Business Administration, Computer Applications & Research, Zeal Education Society, Pune, Maharashtra, India is organizing the First International Conference on Data Management, Analytics and Innovation (ICDMAI – 2017). Dr. Deepak Garg Professor and Head, Computer Science and Engineering Bennett University (Times Group) Greater Noida, U.P., India It is my privilege to send a message for the audience of this conference. If we lose our machine or mobile, we are more worried about our data then the hardware. Similarly data is becoming more valued than the other assets of the company. In this context, it is very important that the research community working in the related fields sit together and deliberate on various aspects related to data. International Conference on Data Management, Analytics and Innovations is a good platform to take these ideas further and consolidate them in the benefit of the society. Even the success of organizations, communities and institutions will depend on the fact that how well they will be able to utilize their data for the purpose of feedback analysis, customer requirements and future planning. I congratulate the team of organizers and the management of Zeal Institute of Business Administration, Computer Applications & Research, Zeal Education Society, Pune for organizing a conference on such an important topic.

Dr. Anupama Rajesh Head – Case Study Centre Amity Business School | Amity University “Each Data Set Must Convey a Story..” Data is being generated and collected with every breath. As we type, react, fill forms, swipe cards, enter or exit, interact with our devices (internet of things..–IoT), we are generating petabytes of data every second. Sophisticated databases can securely manage this kind of “big” data collected. Yet the question is not just of collection but of making sense of this data – deriving useful insights to drive data driven decision making. International Conference on Data Management, Analytics & Innovations 2017 could not have come at a more opportune time. When the world is looking at solutions to various challenges associated with Data and its appropriate analysis, this will provide an excellent platform for discussions and deliberations. I congratulate the organising team and their worthy General Chair Dr. Neha Sharma for ICDMAI 2017 and wish them all success.

I understand, Zeal Institute of Business Administration, Computer Application & Research (ZIBACAR) is organizing its First International Conference on Data Management, Analytics and Innovation (ICDMAI – 2017). Data is growing and will keep growing at rapid pace with more number and more variety of digital devices generating, new and upgraded information during every second. Large quantities of such big data have to be sensibly explored for qualitative inputs and utilized for innovative solutions to meet many challenges. The challenges too are growing and the data analysts are looking to Data blending by combining one or more data sources. Liberating the data from applications, breeding with analytics, visualization are all enlarging the boundaries of data management and may soon enable everyone to work with data. I am sure, ICDMAI -2017, will focus, address and spread such knowledge on meeting practical challenges. I wish the conference a grand success.

The first occurrence of a conference is always a very special event. The host cannot be sure whether it is either a sole event or the outset of a success story with a multitude of conference editions. ICDMAI 2017 is currently in this “postnatal” phase. I experienced the major honor of contributing to this birth as a reviewer. Luckily, the host has granted me the opportunity of leaving my mark and addressing these lines to the readers of the conference proceedings. I wish ICDMAI that it follows the latter of my described scenarios and becomes a reputable, annual event in the scientific landscape of Pune. As the conference chair of I4CS 2016 and the publication chair of I4CS 2017 I know how hard and uncertain it is to acquire a sufficient number of highly respectable submissions in order to meet the requirements of the publisher, especially the upper limit for the acceptance rate. I hope from the bottom of my heart that my personal schedule allows me to submit and present a paper in one of the upcoming editions of ICDMAI. I will definitely retain amicable contact with ICDMAI.

Prof. K. SUBRAMANIAN Chair, IEEE Delhi Section Big data is fuelling the growth economy of the emerging nation. In order to fully understand this growth, big data has to be viewed as more of an enabler than just a technical paradigm. Data volumes are growing and the pace of that growth is accelerating. Sensor data, log files, social media and other sources have emerged, bringing a volume, velocity, and variety of data that far outstrips traditional data warehousing approaches. Forward-looking organizations are harnessing these new sources in creative ways to achieve unprecedented value and competitive advantage. The large enterprises comprising a smaller fraction of the landscape are the most aggressive in their big data roll out strategies. These enterprises are looking to understand their customer segment better to increase sales. From analysing customer influences on preferred telecommunications carriers to personalized customer offers, big data analytics is increasingly playing a vital role. Micro market segmentation and analysis is also playing a key role given the diversity and vastness of the local market. The public sector not only consumes but also generates a lot of data. Government sectors like security and finance are already relying on big data across most of the functional operations. Healthcare and industry policy reforms will be the next to embrace the wave. Increased data adoption in government will also considerably ease cross-functioning of the sectors and lead to better citizen services. Additionally, big data is helping the domestic industry to move more towards compliance and analytics is helping ensure that we meet regulations per the local and international standards. This is helping local industries adapt to government policies and reduce compliance costs. The emerging trend is to move more and driving better business performance. Fraud and Compliance: If you are responsible for security, fraud prevention, or compliance, then data is your best friend – if you can use it to identify and address issues before they become problems. The fact is, security landscapes and compliance requirements are constantly evolving, as are the methods that the bad guys are using to defraud your business. The highlights of the US report on analytics2016, which is adaptable to all nations for growth and sustainable development. Machine and operational data to the cloud for cheaper processing while the operational ROI is enormous. It is also forecasted that the small and medium industry will be a strong player given the limited resources to funds and the need to realize the potential of their data. The Indian industry is on a major path of business transformation towards being customer centric that is only leapfrogged by big data analytics. While the momentum is picking up for big data, expect an equal thrust for borderless, global collaboration. Analytics is the key to unlocking the insights from all your data types, as it enables you to analyse all of your structured, semistructured and unstructured customer data together. Operational Analytics Understanding Machines, Devices and Human Interactions, Manufacturing, operations, service or product executives know all too well the intense pressure to optimize asset utilization, budgets, performance and service quality. It’s essential to gaining a competitive edge It at this juncture, Zeal education society and research with support from IEEE Pune section, organising this ICDMAI 2017 is very appropriate and timely and useful for policy makers, entrepreneurs and industry. I wish the conference a great Success.

The conference has multiple streams like, computer and information technology, electronics and communication technology, and management. The conference therefore provides a platform for discussing a wide variety contemporary technologies. These technologies have played a major role in last few decades to transform the world. It has created a new paradigm of society that is globally connected. The ideas in every sphere of life can move freely across the world in this new paradigm. While this scenario makes everyone a global citizen, it also makes everyone vulnerable. A huge amount of behavioural information about every person who is directly or indirectly in exposed to this modern technology is accumulated in various bins. This information if tapped correctly, can creates wonders in making our world more harmonious and livable. I am sure the conference will deliberate on various aspects of the modern technology not only for the sake of technology but for advancement of humanity as a whole. I am sure the conference will expose the students and faculty of the ZEAL Education Society and other participants of the conference to the inspirational and thought provoking ideas of the eminent researchers from India and abroad.
