MSP Quick Reference Guide This guide walks you through how to Configure Notes & Notifications in Wand as an MSP. It covers some of the primary features to help you get up and running fast!
Specifying User Access How to Select Which Users Have Access to Notes Selecting Which Users Have Access to Notes With Wand Notes, it’s easy to collaborate and communicate in Wand while reducing email clutter, driving faster hiring decisions and managing program compliance. Wand makes it easy to configure which users have access to Notes, specify the cadence with which users will receive notifications of new Notes, and edit Notes categories. After logging into Wand as an MSP, click on “Configuration.” Next, click on “Notes & Notifications” at the bottom of the left-hand navigation. Four modules for which you can configure Notes will be displayed: Request, Engagement, Worker and On/Off Boarding.

Within each module, you can view and select which users (MSP, Supplier and Client) have access to
Notes. Click the “Edit” option at the top of the screen and then click the box next to each user to select
or deselect.
Note: MSP access cannot be changed.

Configuring Group Notifications & Categories Specifying User Access How to Configure How to Select GroupWhich Notifications Users Have and Change Access to Categories/Tags Notes Turning on Group Notifications Turning on Group Notifications will result in the respective user groups being notified of new Notes via both their Wand home page and in the form of either email digests (recommended) or real-time emails. To turn Group Notifications on or off, toggle the switch next to “Turn on Group Notifications” left or right. If Group Notifications are turned on, MSPs will see two options: •
“Send as Email Digest (Recommended)”: Select the desired interval (1 hour, 3 hours, 8 hours, 24 hours) in which all unread comments will be sent via an email digest. Three hours is the default.

“Send Email in Realtime”: When this option is selected, an email will be sent in near-real time after a comment has been added to a Note.
Selecting and Adding Notes Categories Wand makes it easy to select, unselect and add categories/tags that can be assigned to a comment in a Note. To select or deselect a category, simply click the checkmark next to the category in the “Category List” that you wish to change. To add a category to the list, click the “+Add New” option to the right of the Category List. A box appears at the bottom of the list, and you can type the name of the new category and add it to the options. Once you’ve finished making your Notes configuration changes, just hit “Save” at the bottom of the screen. Note: In the “On/Off Boarding” module, the category list is customized for each engagement.
