FP7 European project 26 partners A European grant of €3 million 3.5 years of Research and Innovation OPTIFEL (Optimised Food Products for Elderly People) is a FP7 project coordinated by INRA (Catherine Renard, UMR408 Sécurité et Qualité des Produits d’Origine Végétale). The aim of OPTIFEL was to develop products based on fruit and vegetables in order to improve the nutrition of the elderly and their pleasure to eat. The use of fruit and vegetables is justified by the fact that they offer a large diversity of products. The project will be officially closed by the final conference held in Paris on 1st February 2017.
