Great beer, live music and family fun Our live music stage kicks off at 12.30 with the Brasswursts, the alter-ego of Perthshire Brass, inspired by the Oompah bands of the beer halls. Throughout the afternoon you’ll enjoy live music and performances from individuals and bands from across the region, kindly donating their time to support our great cause. Cheers! Perthshire Rugby Sevens, sponsored by Scot JCB, kicks off at 11.30am. Enjoy the thrill of fast-paced, 7s rugby whilst sampling our tantalising selection of ales. There will also be plenty of activities for the family to enjoy including rugby and Rugby Nippers tasters and demonstrations of NEW TARTAN Touch.
Perth Beer Festival ‘Big Bash’ Featuring The Solid Gold Band
Enjoy our full selection of craft beers, well-stocked bar, live music & dancing. Returning due to popular demand, our music stage will feature Perth’s own The Solid Gold Band. The Solid Gold Band’s crowd pleasing repertoire is an eclectic mix of modern hits through to 60s band classics. Admission is on a ticket only basis and a limited number of tickets will be available for sale on the door.
Perth Beer Festival 2018 will be held on Saturday 12th May.
THE RULES Some things run better with a few rules. Here are ours: If you are issued with one of the Perth Beer Festival pint glasses: KEEP HOLD OF IT. This is your glass for the festival. Simply tell a member of staff what you would like to drink and they will pour you either a half or full pint. Please put all rubbish in the bins provided.
At 6pm we’ll begin to politely ask guests to move to our temporary bar in order to thoroughly clean and prepare our facilities for evening ‘Big Bash’ guests. We would appreciate your cooperation in order for the transition to be as smooth as possible please. When you are leaving the North Inch, please do so quietly in respect of our neighbours.
Please do not bring your own alcohol onto the premises. This is not covered by the licensing laws and will be confiscated.
Enjoy the unique experiences of a party on the North Inch and pray for sunshine!
See you there!

www.scot-jcb.com Scot JCB are a specialised machinery distributor who supply and provide technical support for the JCB range of construction, agricultural and industrial equipment. Scot JCB are one of the largest JCB distributors, operating through a network of branches from Muir of Ord, north of Inverness, to Carnforth in Lancashire to service JCB customers throughout Scotland and the North of England. Rugby Sevens is a fast and furious contest with high point-scoring, hard hits and heroic sprints. It takes two teams of seven players and gives them just 14 minutes to win the game. It’s all about teamwork, skills and stamina and with just 7 players per team, everyone’s got a job to do! Matches start from 11.30am. Hosts and last year’s winners, Perthshire Rugby, will be challenged by local teams including Crieff & Strathearn and Aberfeldy as well as Caledonia teams such as Strathmore and Hilfoots and BT Premiership Champions Ayr RFC! Other teams competing are: Greenock Wanderers, Dundee Uni Medics, Harris, Lismore, Waysiders, Drumpellier, Morgan and Abertay University.
In the Women’s draw we welcome Stewartry, Ayr and Broughton RFC’s to challenge a Perthshire Presidents VII as part of the club’s ongoing aim to grow the women’s game here at Perthshire. Finally, in place of the usual Vets games, we welcome The Clan (www.trustrugby.org) who will take on Perthshire Vets in a mixed ability match. Founded in 2010 Trust Rugby International (tri) is a proactive, Scottish based charity, whose goal is to bring individuals and communities together through the game of rugby.
TARTAN Touch is Scottish Rugby’s NEW Fun, Simple and Social version of non-contact rugby. It is designed to give participants a fun workout whilst playing a simplified version of the sport we love. TARTAN Touch will be demonstrated throughout the afternoon. TARTAN Touch has 8 simple rules making it a great game for newcomers to get involved with. Perthshire Rugby will host TARTAN Touch sessions for 10 weeks every Wednesday from 17th May to 19th July (6.30pm - 8.00pm). Whether you are a supporter, player or completely new to rugby; whether you want to get back into the game or looking for something new to keep fit. Tartan Touch is for you! Sign up for Tartan Touch discounted Summer Pass right now at www.tartantouch.org or follow Perthshire Rugby on Facebook.
Perthshire Rugby There’s so much happening in Perthshire Rugby at the moment. The Club is going from strength to strength. We have thriving Minis (P1-P7), Midi (S1-U16) and Senior sections and we’re doing lots of great work in the community. Why not follow our Facebook page or come down to the North Inch on a Sunday and see what we do. We’re developing a sponsorship proposition for our forthcoming rugby season.
