Pizza crumpets When you fancy the flavour of pizza, try this 10-minute snack. Serves: 4 adults Preparation time: 5 mins Cooking time: 5 mins Ingredients: 4 crumpets 4 tsp tomato puree 4 tomatoes sliced 2 tsp dried mixed herbs 40g reduced fat hard cheese grated 1 pinch ground black pepper
What to do: 1. Preheat the grill. Toast the undersides of the crumpets. 2. Flip the crumpets over and spread each one with 1 teaspoon of tomato puree. Arrange the sliced tomatoes on top and grill for 1-2 minutes. 3. Sprinkle the herbs and cheese evenly over the crumpets and grill until the cheese melts and bubbles. Serve at once.
