- High Safety Required Use This Product is designed, developed and manufactured as contemplated for general use, including without limitation, general office use, personal use, household use, and ordinary industrial use, but is NOT designed, developed and manufactured as contemplated for use accompanying fatal risks or dangers that, unless extremely high safety is secured, could lead directly to death, personal injury, severe physical damage or other loss (hereinafter "High Safety Required Use"), including without limitation, nuclear reaction control in nuclear facility, aircraft flight control, air traffic control, mass transport control, medical life support system, missile launch control in weapon system. If you are a user with administrator privileges, select [Allow]. If you are a user without administrator privileges, select a user with administrator privileges, enter a password, and select the [OK] button. * This product cannot be installed on a network disk or removable disk. * This product cannot be installed in the folder where Rack2-Filer, Rack2-Viewer or Magic Desktop is installed. * When installing this product, do not use environment-dependent characters (exclusive to Unicode) for the login user name and program installation folder. * When installing .NET Framework, the following message may appear. "The installation of (.NET Framework product name) appears to have failed.

Do you want to continue the installation?" If the above message appears, cancel the installation and install the .Net Framework product that is indicated by Windows Update or the Microsoft home page. Then, install Rack2-Filer Smart. * Check the product's home page for the latest documents. http://www.pfu.fujitsu.com/en/products/rack2_smart/manual.html 2. Cautions for Uninstallation =============================== * To uninstall this product, log in as the user who installed the product. This user must have administrator privileges. * End all applications before beginning the uninstallation. * After Rack2-Filer Smart is uninstalled, the storage room and backup folders and their subfolders/files remain. Delete these subfolders/files as needed. * When this product is uninstalled on Windows Vista(R), Windows(R) 7, Windows(R) 8, or Windows(R) 8.1, the [User Account Control] screen appears. If you are a user with administrator privileges, select [Allow]. If you are a user without administrator privileges, select a user with administrator privileges, enter a password, and select the [OK] button. 3. New Changes in the Rack2-Filer Smart V1.0 Update =================================================== The new changes in the Rack2-Filer Smart V1.0 Update (V1.0L22) are as follows: * Corrected the problem of importing high quality images or large size data that sometimes could not be imported before. The new changes in the Rack2-Filer Smart V1.0 Update (V1.0L21) are as follows: * Enhanced the linkage with ScanSnap SV600. The "point retouch" function, with which the captured finger areas are filled in, is available when scanning a flat document. * Multiple Office documents can be imported once at a time. The new changes in the Rack2-Filer Smart V1.0 Update (V1.0L20) are as follows: * Supports ScanSnap SV600. The image of a double-page spread document such as a book or a magazine as well as the cover of a document can be imported as they are. * Binders which store images that are imported can be specified in the Rack2-Bookshelf window. In addition, a new binder can be created when importing images. * After importing images to a binder, Rack2-Viewer, where you can check the import result, is automatically displayed. * The cover of a binder can be displayed in full-screen. In addition, the height and the width of a binder can be changed.

* Tool information such as a sticky notes or memos can be copied. * The right-click menu is available on Rack2-Viewer. The new changes in the Rack2-Filer Smart V1.0 Update (V1.0L14) are as follows: * Corrected the program to get Microsoft .NET Framework 4 Language Pack appropriate for the Windows language environment to be installed. Cautions for Use ==================== * When you want to import the manual "Rack2-Filer Smart Your Guide" as a binder style, select [Import] from the binder operation menu on the Rack2-Bookshelf window and then import "UsersGuide.rk2s" from "\DefaultData". Default location of is as follows: 32-bit version operating system: "C:\Program Files\PFU\Raku2Smart" 64-bit version operating system: "C:\Program Files(x86)\PFU\Raku2Smart" * When the storage room is located in a network folder and data is shared, several fonts do not appear properly if the fonts are not installed on the client computer. * This product does not support virtual environments such as remote desktop.

* Do not log off or shutdown while an operation is being processed. * When running this product, do not use environment-dependent characters (exclusive to Unicode) for the login user name or for attached file names when sending e-mail. * Do not specify a Rack2-Filer Smart storage room folder or its subfolders as the sync folder of the cloud storage. Synchronization of binder data is not supported. 5. License Agreement for Built-in Software =========================================== For details on the license agreements concerning products from other companies that are provided with this product, refer to the "License" folder in this installer. -
