SCOPE OF WORK General Description of the Work

The works consists of Supplying of Door Handles and Door Lock Mechanisms for Straddle Carriers Pier 2 for a period of 2 years. The items are to be kept by the supplier and supplied timeously on request.

GENERAL REQUIREMENTS a) All spares quoted on as to be as TPT specifications. b) The company must have at least one delivery vehicle. c) Delivery to be done within 8 hours after receiving official TPT order. d) Supplier to quote on all items failure to do so will result in your tender being disqualified.

SITE INFORMATION Site Access The site is at the Durban Container Terminal in the Port of Durban, Pier 2. Access to the Port of Durban will be subject to the TPT security requirements and regulations. A safety site induction will be compulsory for suppliers that are entering the terminal for the first time. Suppliers using their own vehicles to enter the terminal must have PPE, a complete and up to date safety file and provide their own revolving/strobe light for their vehicles. Suppliers must adhere to all safety standards/rules/regulations pertaining to Durban Container Terminal.
