LIGHT DISTRIBUTION OPTIONS IESNA TYPE I – luminaires to be mounted over the center of the area to be illuminated. Applies to rectangular distributions on narrow streets.

Refractor and diffuser selection It is difficult to understand the advantages and disadvantages of each type of refractive or non-refractive diffuser, especially in terms of its application in a specific setting. Our optical engineers are experienced in making these choices and can help customer understand which best suits their needs.
Lens optimisation Lenses are used in LED luminaires and are commonly positioned directly on the LED. There are many lens shapes to choose from. Only experienced and knowledgeable optical engineers know how to determine the best lens for each product, with the possibility of combining various lenses within one optical system in order to achieve the desired result. For highly demanding street lighting luminaires we have developed our own optimisation software, the Street Light Configurator, which allows us to combine up to four different lenses at various angles in order to provide the needed LIDC.
Refractor optimisation It is possible to modify a refractive material in order to achieve a desired LIDC; however, this is an incredibly difficult task that requires a high level of expertise.
