Fact Sheet

Feature

GEUTEBRÜCK system components allow to design flexible systems with analog or IP video cameras in any combination from a wide range of manufacturers.

System Architecture Pure IP, hybrid and analog systems

X

RAID Systems Virtual matrix

X

RAID systems can be connected to all of our DVR/NVR devices for high database reliability. GeViRaid is the perfect match for our systems being proven and fully integrated. With GeViScope and re_porter or any combination of the two IP-based, (almost) latency-free virtual matrices are possible.

Compression Tools DSP - Digital Signal Processing

X

DCS - Dual Channel Streaming

X

MPEG4CCTV

X

VFR - Variable Frame Rate VBR - Variable Bit Rate

X

VGL - Variable GOP Length

X

Geutebrück DSP technology guarantees real time processing of any analog camera connected for compression, analytics and transmission. Each DSP channel is processed twice, for live streaming in real time and for recording. The MPEG4CCTV compression algorithm is optimized for the very special demands in video security applications. Frame rates may be adopted to the individual needs to save storage and bandwidth: with low frame rates in slow-moving scenes and full frame rate for each channel in applications with fast moving objects. Due to variable bit rates the image quality is stable and continuously high, independant of the image or stream content. Variable GOP lengths allow for the perfect use of storage and bandwidth adapted to the image and stream content.

Quality profiles

Profiles for recording and live streaming quality of images are defined once in terms of resolution and compression factor. An unlimited number of profiles can be defined for flexible use depending on time ranges, events etc.

-

Freely configurable bandwidth limitation

User-definable limitation of the maximal bandwidth used for transmitting live and recorded images to viewing sations.

Image quality will be adapted automatically and in real-time to the image content, being low while there is no motion and higher upon motion.

-

Irrelevant parts of the image are compressed at low quality while relevant parts are shown and stored in the defined high quality. The resolution of the live image displayed is automatically adapted to the size of the viewer window saving bandwidth for live transmission.

One homogeneous operator interface ensures easy and efficient system operation. GSCView is the single GUI for viewing live or recorded images with an intuitive, seamless control of image display for all digital recorders. MultiMap is the graphical map-based control software to allow the user to control all system functions and image display via site maps. The MBeg operator keyboard for dedicated operator workstations reduces the operator's task to simple keystrokes - via LAN or serial link. Creates a DVD of selected sequences that can be reviewed on any standard home DVD player. (MultiScope: in combination with GSCView) GUI and setup in the user's language optimise comissioning, administration and operational security. One GUI can connect simulatneously to all DVR/NVR devices within the system via LAN or WAN. For complete transparency of the system architecture to the operator.

Multiple DVR/NVR display: Live and database display

Seamless, intuitive display of all images in the system - live or recorded, simultaneously without limitation.

Cameras are grouped to display the logical secruity architecture instead of the physical system layout. (MultiScope: in combination with GSCView)

Comfortable control of display of recorded images via the time line display with pointer control. (MultiScope: in combination with GSCView)

Adapted scenes to the operator's task, e.g. alarm scenes showing all relevant cameras in user-definable order and size. The master camera sets the time for diplay of all cameras selected, independant of viewing mode or frame rates - for efficient seach and investigation. Audio recording will be displayed perfectly synchronised to the video images for optimal information content.

-

Announce warnings in monitored objects as a first reaction to critical situations or play recorded audio files in the object as a warning or instruction.

Display of live and recorded images via standard web browser as an option for IT networks not allowing to install proprietary software. PTZ control for a wide variety of manufacturer protocols via mouse (or joystick with MBeg).

Fast search for motion in recorded images for efficient investigation. All search results (incl. MOS results) can be manually or autmatically stored in a cut list, then edited and then exported to backup media for evidence or later detail investigation. Motion search in defined areas of live streams for flexible alarm scenarios. (Cutlist: MultiScope in combination with GSCView)

Customized control buttons

Individual buttons for system function control depending on the operator's task, e.g. start a monitor cycle, activate/deactivate VMD/AD etc.

Blocking filters

Block certain system reactions via system actions e.g. automatic deactivating of VMD/AD.

-

Flexible parameter sets

Setup of any number of parameter sets for the complete system to be activated via calender/time control, VMD/AD, manual command etc. - for high flexibility.

User definable time ranges and calenders can control the complete system setup according to user needs - for maximum flexibility to adapt to day/night conditions, workday/weekend situations etc. A wide variety of flexible setup options to control the system's alarm behaviour including definition of alarm priorities, e.g. distributing different types of alarms to different user groups, controlling the way alarms are presentented. (MultiScope: no priorities) Active alarm transmission to remote sites including automatic connection e.g. to monitoring centers. Alternative connection paths definable. (MutltiScope: MultiDial) Notifies users and maintenance technicians of alarms, defects etc. via e-mail. User-definable texts and e-mail addresses for different event types.

X

Professional video motion detection for outdoor use in high security areas. Proven algorithm in use more than 40.000 times worldwide. Intermediate detection algorithm for recording control, for indoor applications and for less critical outdoor applications. Extended Activity Detection allowing to define sensitivity per detection cell and four alarm areas. High-security motion detection algorithm allowing for differentiated system reaction depending on the type of object detected. Classifies moving objects in the video stream into person, vehicle or unkown object. Inculding white/black list for access control and other applications. Numbers are stored with the images to be used as search criteria. Application in museums to protect valuables from being removed. May be used also in logistics, for car parks etc. Sounds above a definable threshold of volume will trigger system reactions such as alarm, recording etc.

System Administration External RAID storage solutions will be even more secure with GeViScope and re_porter with their inbuilt recording cache covering any temporary connection failure to the storage device. Keeps track of all system activities and generates reports. Filters and xml export enabled. Separate manipulation-proof database.

-

Monitors system functionality and generates system actions or events at anormalities, e.g. video channel not recording, network connection failure etc.

Video analysis algorithm automatically monitoring a camera's position to detect tampering or accidental changes of the field of view. Full information on server performance at any given moment of time including historical data to verify the a server's status. Full information on bandwidth and image transmission status to verify bandwidth consumption and adapt system setup to given network performance parameters.

High availability database structure

If the data is saved to several hard disks without RAID level, the images of the faultless hard disks stay accessible, in case of a failure of one of the hard disks.

-

Status notification of ring buffers

The status of a ring buffer in terms of archiving periods (oldest image in ring buffer) can trigger a system reaction e.g. alarm depending on a definable threshold.
