Introduction The db x-trackers Collective Investment Scheme in Securities (“the Issuer”) is a Collective Investment Scheme offering a range of exchange traded funds referencing offshore assets listed on the JSE (the “DBX ETF Securities”). The current manager of the Issuer is db X-trackers (RF) Proprietary Limited (“the Manager”), a Collective Investment Scheme Management company. The names of the Issuer, Manager and DBX ETF Securities are to be changed as detailed below (“Name Change”). 2. Rationale and details of the name change Holders of DBX ETF Securities are referred to the SENS announcement released on SENS on 14 June 2017 referring to the fulfilment of the suspensive conditions and the effective date of the sale of shares agreement between Sygnia Limited and Deutsche Group Holding (SA) Proprietary Limited and are advised that in terms of such sale of shares agreement Sygnia Limited agreed to stop using the name db xtrackers as soon as regulatory approval is received for the new names of the Issuer, the Manager and the various DBX ETF Securities. Approval for the Name Change of the Issuer, the Manager and the DBX ETF Securities was received from the Financial Services Board on 23 August 2017.
The new names of the Issuer and the Manager are the Sygnia Itrix Collective Investment Scheme and Sygnia Itrix (RF) Proprietary Limited respectively.
